Cooper Tire Reviews
I just had the Cooper Evolutions put on my Ford
F-150 Lariat. So far a great ride and quiet. Highly recommended by my mechanic. I don't drive off road, or drive in snow (Live in the Southern US). However I did talk to a Evolution owner the has drive in snow and said they handled great. I will update this review when I have some real miles on the tires.
Had OEM good year wrangler hp and were great for the first 15k. I had to replace this year at 27k due to no traction from last winters snow pack in ID. I heard good reviews about cooper so I decided to try these-great price on tire crawler. They handle great on highway/freeway roads. Only have driven 1500 miles so I don't know about wet or snow. I can tell there is a notable difference in stopping distance, the brake pedal doesn't need to be applied as hard or as long with these tires. Hoping for good traction on the ice and snow this winter as the company promised with the evolution, being an upgrade from the discovery series. Will update when the snow lands.
This is my first set of Evolution H/T tires. Just drove my first 150 miles, So far I love them, quiet & smooth ride. I could tell a huge difference from what I had previously in the first 10 miles of driving. I did own a set of the Cooper Discoverer H/T which rode very loud and only got 40K miles from them which was very disappointing. I was told this Evolution H/T was a better tire promising 60K miles wear. We will see. I have driven on both dry and rain slick roads & I am real pleased for now. I will update again after another 2,000 miles driven. My tire dealer referred this particular tire for my Jeep Cherokee, great choice. I rated the tires for what I know about them at this time. Treadwear, winter traction, and durability will be rated at a later time. I do not go off road.
